These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of GrepLink, a bookmark and snippet manager (the “Service”) operated by arcbar (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. The Service
GrepLink provides a desktop application and accompanying cloud sync services for organizing bookmarks and code snippets. The Service is available on a freemium basis — Free tier with usage caps and Pro tier via subscription.
2. Payments & Merchant of Record
LemonSqueezy is our merchant of record. All payments, invoices, refunds, chargebacks, tax collection (including VAT, GST, and sales taxes) are handled by LemonSqueezy on our behalf. When you subscribe to GrepLink Pro, you enter into a transactional relationship with LemonSqueezy; their Terms of Service apply to the transaction in parallel with these Terms.
3. Subscriptions
Pro subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) until cancelled. You may cancel at any time via the LemonSqueezy customer portal linked in your GrepLink account; your Pro access continues until the end of the paid period.

5. Your Content
You retain ownership of all bookmarks, snippets, notes, and other content you store in the Service (“Your Content”). Your Content is synced to our Supabase-hosted database (EU region, Frankfurt) under row-level security scoped to your account. We do not claim any ownership or license over Your Content except as necessary to operate the Service on your behalf.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to store, sync, or distribute unlawful content, malware, or material that infringes third-party rights. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate this clause after reasonable notice where possible.

8. Service Availability
We strive for high availability but do not offer a formal SLA for the current pricing tier. The desktop app keeps a local cache of your data, so a temporary sync outage generally won’t block access to content already on your device. GrepLink is a cloud-synced service, and full functionality — including saving new items and syncing across devices — depends on connectivity to our servers.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GrepLink is provided “as is” without warranty. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us (via LemonSqueezy) in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
